Bucks County grocers won't have to fear the wrath of the turkey thief any longer as authorities say they've nabbed their man.
Anthony Gisondi allegedly stole hundreds of dollars in frozen meat -- mostly turkeys -- from three supermarkets in Upper and Lower Southampton Townships in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.
Police say Gisondi would walk into the stores, load up shopping carts with turkeys, hams and even a rib roast and just walk out the front door.
Each time the suspect was caught on surveillance cameras. It was those photos, which helped police identify Gisondi. They say he became a suspect after a neighbor noticed the man in the pictures.
Authorities believe Gisondi was selling the meats for drug money. He turned himself into police Thursday.
