Philadelphia police special victim’s unit is investigating the alleged rape of a woman inside a house near La Salle University.
According to investigators an 18-year old woman says she was raped in a bathroom early Saturday morning in a house on Chew Avenue. Both students and non-students live in the home, according to Jon Caroulis, a spokesman for La Salle.
The woman was evaluated and released from Albert Einstein Medical Center. School officials said the victim nor the alleged rapist were students at the university.
