Alleged Pimp, Prostitute to Stand Trial for Murder, Dismemberment

An alleged prostitute and her pimp have been ordered to stand trial in the killing and dismemberment of a Philadelphia man whose torso was found in the Schuylkill River in September.

KYW-AM said 22-year-old Stephanie Foulke and 34-year-old Keith Tolbert are charged with second-degree murder and related charges.

Foulke testified at a hearing Wednesday that 40-year-old Frank Zarzycki was with her and another prostitute, Angel Weston, in a Philadelphia apartment when Tolbert tried to rob him.

Foulke said she shot Zarzyki with a stun gun and she and 21-year-old co-defendant Weston bound him with tape. After the victim died during the struggle, Foulke testified that Tolbert used a hatchet to dismember the body.

Zarzycki's torso was found by fishermen near the 1300 block of Schuylkill Avenue in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia. The 40-year-old's head, arms and legs had been chopped off and were missing.

He was identified by a tattoo on his back a week after his family reported him missing.

The attorney for Weston says her involvement was minimal and she is hoping for a plea deal.
