The estranged girlfriend of a Williams Township man found fatally shot in his home has been charged with his murder, according to the Northampton County District Attorney.
Mark W. Werkheiser, 38, was found dead in his bed on March 16. He was shot multiple times, according to police.
Elizabeth Collazo, the mother of Werkheiser's four children, is in police custody and has been arraigned on murder charges.
Werkheiser and Collazo were engaged in a bitter custody dispute and the two were scheduled to appear in court on the day Werkheiser was found dead.
