Armed Robbers Target Aldi Store in NJ: Police

Police are searching for three armed robbers who targeted an Aldi Food Store in Maple Shade, New Jersey, officials say.

The suspects entered the Aldi on 471 Route 38 West Friday at 9:07 p.m. Police say the men walked in at closing time while only two employees were working and two customers were inside. One of the suspects had a physical altercation with a customer because she didn’t want to be forced into the office, investigators said.

The three men then stole over $35000 in cash and fled the scene towards the Buttonwood Court Apartments, according to officials. Cinnaminson Police and a K9 team helped search for the suspects but they have not been found.

The three suspects were captured on surveillance video. One suspect is wearing a gray hoody, white Phillies baseball cap, dark pants and a bandanna on his face. Another suspect is wearing dark clothing and a backpack. The third suspect is wearing dark clothing and gloves.
