Free NJ Beaches for Active Military

New law allows N.J. shore towns to offer active military personnel free or discounted beach badges.

Active military personnel could beach it for free -- or at least at a discounted rate -- in New Jersey, according to the Gloucester County TImes.

A bill was signed into law on Tuesday. It will allow Jersey beach towns, bathing and recreational grounds to provide free or discounted beach tags to all active military members as well as members of the New Jersey National Guard, reports the Times.

The law, which is sponsored by N.J. Sen. Fred Madden, also includes the spouses and children (over the age of 12) of military personnel.
