9/11 Flag Arrives in Atlantic City

An important symbol of American resilience made a stop at the Atlantic City Convention Center Saturday.

The patriot flag once flew about the World Trade Center in New York City. The stop was part of a tour across America to honor the victims of the attacks carried out on 9/11.

Members of the Atlantic City Fire Department and several first responders to the attack carried the flag to shouts of β€œthank you”.

The flag is on a tour through all 50 states where local service heroes get the privilege to stitch part of the flag back together.

The final destination will be in New York City to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
