An 8-year-old boy is in stable condition after being hit by an unknown vehicle Saturday in Frankford.
Police say the incident happened shortly after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Bridge and Ditman Streets. The vehicle fled the scene of the accident and no description was immediately available.
The boy was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital.
