Traffic was delayed in the northbound truck lanes on the New Jersey Turnpike following a multivehicle crash Wednesday near Linden.
State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn says the crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. and involved three tractor-trailers and a New Jersey Transit bus.
Eight people were injured, including one who was extricated from the bus and was seriously injured.

All of the patients were taken to a hospital in Newark.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
