A young boy is in the hospital after police say he was shot during a house party.
It happened Saturday morning around 2 a.m. on 27th and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. Investigators believe there was a large fight that began inside the home and then spread outside. The brawl then culminated into shots being fired and a 7-year-old boy being struck in the right leg, according to police.
The boy was taken to the hospital where police say he is in stable condition. No arrests have been made. The investigation continues.
