Seven people were arrested on Friday after police say they busted two alleged Atlantic City prostitution rings.
Atlantic City Police executed a search warrant at the “Solar Therapy and Spa” on Atlantic Avenue after a month-long investigation.
Yae Grum, 46 and Yue Jin Piao, 41, both of New York, were arrested for allegedly engaging in prostitution. Pia Fennu, 41, also of New York, was arrested for allegedly promoting prostitution. Police say they also seized $2,547 from the spa.
Police executed another search warrant at an alleged Atlantic City prostitution ring on Friday, this time at “Clover Stress Therapy,” also on Atlantic Avenue. Jihyon Kim, 41, Kwang Moon, 34, and Koun Suk Oh, 35, all of Atlantic City, were arrested for engaging in prostitution. Sang Bosse, 51, also of Atlantic City, was arrested for promoting prostitution. Police say they seized $1360 from the operations.
It’s unknown at this time if the two incidents are related.
