Police are searching for an armed man who they say robbed a woman while she was with her son.
Police say the 43-year-old woman was with her 7-year-old son at the WSFS Bank on Fox Hunt Drive in Bear, Delaware on Saturday, around 6 p.m.
The woman had just drawn money from the ATM and was walking back to her car with her son. Suddenly, police say, a masked man armed with a knife approached the two of them and demanded money. Police say the man then snatched an undisclosed amount of money from the boy’s hands and fled on foot towards the Fox Run Apartments. Neither the woman nor her son were injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a man standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10 and weighing between 180 and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Grey sweatshirt, black pants and dark-colored shoes with a black mask covering his face.
