Shooting Leaves 67-Year-Old Man Critical

Police say a 67-year-old man was shot by two masked men in what they believe was a robbery.

A 67-year-old man is fighting for his life after police say he was shot by two masked men.
It happened Wednesday around 7 p.m. on the 1900 block of 74th Avenue in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

Police say the man was shot once in both arms and once in the chest by two men wearing dark-hooded sweatshirts as well as masks. Investigators believe the motive of the shooting was robbery. No word yet on whether the suspects stole any money from the victim.

Investigators say the man managed to stumble inside Lee’s Hoagies restaurant and ask for help. He was taken to Einstein Hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

Police believe the suspects were driving a red Ford Taurus that was last seen in the area of 74th and Cheltenham Avenue.
