6 Hurt in 2 Triple Shootings in Philly

Six people are in the hospital after two triple shootings in Philadelphia.

Police say three teenage boys, ages 17, 18, and 19, were on 12th and Parrish in the Spring Garden section of the city around midnight when they were approached by an armed suspect who opened fire.

The 17-year-old was shot once in the left hip and once in the back. He was taken to the hospital where he is currently in critical condition. The 18-year-old was struck once in the buttocks and is currently in stable condition. The 19-year-old was struck once in the right leg and once in the chest. He is currently in stable condition.

Police are also investigating a second shooting in the West Oak Lane section of the city.  Police say two women and a man were standing outside of Winston’s Lounge on 18th and Cheltenham around 3:45 a.m. when an armed suspect opened fire. A 43-year-old woman was shot twice in the foot. She was taken to Einstein Hospital where she is currently in stable condition. A 32-year-old man was shot once in the arm and is currently in stable condition. Finally, a 30-year-old woman was shot once in the foot and once in the abdomen. She is currently in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in either shooting and police have not yet released a description of any suspects. If you have any information on either incident, please call Philadelphia Police.
