5th Deal Accepted In Alleged NJ Child Rape Case

A fifth person has taken a plea deal that dropped all sex charges in what police said was the gang-rape of a 7-year-old New Jersey girl pimped out by her 15-year-old Stepsister.

Tiemare (ty-MAIR') Lewis was initially charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment. He pleaded guilty Thursday to criminal trespassing for being in the apartment where the alleged crime took place.

Trenton police initially said the teen took the younger girl to a party and watched as she was raped by as many as seven men and boys in March.

But prosecutors say the case weakened with no DNA evidence and the 15-year-old changing her story.

The stepsister and three teenage boys were sentenced to time served and probation after they pleaded guilty to child endangerment or trespassing.
