Officials are investigating a school bus accident in Princeton, New Jersey that injured eight middle schoolers and the bus driver.
It happened Tuesday afternoon on 59 Valley Road. Police say a bus carrying 19 members of the John Witherspoon Middle School baseball team was traveling on the road when it struck a tree. Eight of the players as well as the bus driver were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say the injuries are not life threatening and consist mainly of bumps and bruises.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Parents of the children were notified.
