Pregnant Woman, 3 Others Shot: Cops

A 29-year-old woman who police say is 7-months-pregnant, was among the four people shot.

Police say four people, including a pregnant woman, were shot in the Grays Ferry section of the city.

It happened Tuesday night on the 1400 block of South Etting Street at 9:15 p.m.

A 24-year-old man was shot once in the back and died early Wednesday morning. A 22-year-old man was shot once in the upper right shoulder and is in stable condition. A 31-year-old man was shot once in the left leg and is in stable condition. Finally, a 29-year-old woman who police say is 7-months-pregnant, was shot once in the right lower leg and is currently in stable condition. Police also say the 31-year-old victim is the woman's brother.

Police describe the shooter as a black male with dreadlocks. He was wearing a black sleeveless vest over a white shirt and was riding a black and royal blue motorcycle, according to investigators. Police say he was last seen fleeing northbound on 27th Street.  No arrests have been made.
