Police say four members of the Williamsport Crosscutters, a Short-Season Class A team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies, suffered minor injuries when their bus was involved in an accident on Staten Island.
The accident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The injured were taken to a local hospital.
Police had few details of the accident early Wednesday morning.
The Crosscutters play in the short-season New York-Penn League and are based in Williamsport.
