Gunman Targets Teens Outside Mini Market

Police are investigating a shooting that sent four people to the hospital.

Police say the four victims were standing outside the Rodriguez Mini Market #5 at 21st and Medary Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Suddenly, police say, a gray or black Sedan with tinted windows pulled up outside the store. Police say at least one gunman inside the vehicle opened fire on the group before the car drove away, south on 21st Street.

A 17-year-old boy was struck in the right shoulder and buttocks. A 16-year-old boy was struck in his right calf and left ankle. A 20-year-old man was shot in his buttocks. Finally, a 15-year-old boy was struck in the left foot.

All four victims were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where they are currently in stable condition.

No arrests have been made. Police have not yet released information on any suspects but say three people may have been inside the car during the shooting.
