A suburban Philadelphia woman is behind bars after police say she left her young children unattended.
Thirty-one-year-old Christina Staley is charged with four counts of child endangerment after Upper Darby police said she left her four children -- ages 2, 3, 6 and 8 -- home alone on Sunday.
Police responding to a call that Staley's 2-year-old daughter was outside in the nearly freezing cold said they went to the toddler's home, where the other children said they didn't know where their mother was.
The children were checked out at a hospital and released to the custody of their maternal grandfather.
Staley is being held in Delaware County prison in lieu of $30,000 bail.
