4-Alarm Warehouse Fire in Port Richmond Contained

A four-alarm fire raced through a warehouse in the Port Richmond section of the city Saturday night.

Flames broke out shortly after 6 p.m. at East Allegheny Avenue and Collins Street.

It took nearly two hours and 120 firefighters to put the blaze under control.

About ten businesses were housed in the warehouse, according to officials.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
