The Lackawanna County coroner's office says 34-year-old Nicole Price; her sister, 20-year-old Ashley Price; and 35-year-old Joseph Fazio were found dead in the same apartment after the fire was reported about 2 a.m. Saturday in Dunmore.

Their apartment is one of five on the second floor above a beauty supply store. Eight other people in the other apartments were able to escape.

State Fire Marshal Trooper John Chervanka says the fire began on the second floor of the building and doesn't appear to be suspicious, though its cause was still being investigated.

A Dunmore police officer noticed smoke coming from the building and alerted residents.
