Three men were stabbed when a fight broke out inside a central New Jersey bar.
New Brunswick police say several people were involved in the altercation, which broke out shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday. But it's still not clear what sparked the brawl.
The three stabbing victims, all residents of New Brunswick, were taken to hospitals for treatment.
Authorities say a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and underwent surgery, while a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the leg and suffered wounds that are not considered life-threatening.
The third victim, 24-year-old German Vasquez, was treated for a stab wound to the arm and was released later Sunday. But he was taken into custody when detectives learned there was a warrant for his arrest, stemming from an unrelated incident.
