3 Hurt, 1 Critically in Delco Drive-By Shooting

A drive-by shooting in Delaware County has sent three men to the hospital -- one with critical injuries.

The shooting took place along the 100 block of Nyack Avenue in Lansdowne, Pa. just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, police said.

Investigators say a car drove up to a group of men and exchanged words with them. Then a person in the car opened fire on the men.

In all, half a dozen shots were fired before the car sped off, according to police.

The unidentified men were rushed to area hospitals. One of the victims suffered severe injuries and is listed in critical condition.

The other two men are expected to recover.

Police believe the shooting is drug-related.

There was not an immediate description of the car involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
