3 Face Charges in New Jersey Synthetic Drug Case

Three people are under arrest in Bergen County following a three-month investigation into the possession and distribution of the synthetic drug known on the street as "Molly.''

Authorities say they seized $56,000 worth of drugs and chemicals and $112,000 in cash from homes in Fort Lee and Edgewater.

Prosecutors charged 32-year-old Fernando Bautista with possession with intent to distribute "Molly" and tampering with evidence.

They charged 26-year-old Alejandra Arbelaez with possession with intent to distribute and money laundering and 33-year-old Angel Tejada with money laundering.

All three are held in the Bergen County Jail.
