280K Ecstasy Pills Seized in Bust

Four people are arrested in a multi-million dollar drug bust by Bensalem Police

Authorities say a drug raid in suburban Philadelphia has busted up a suspected multimillion dollar drug ring and landed four men behind bars in lieu of $10 million bail apiece.

The Bucks County Courier-Times reports that a tractor-trailer seized Wednesday in Bensalem, Bucks County, had 280,000 ecstasy pills inside.

Federal agents and local police say three men from New York and one man from Canada are under arrest in connection with the bust.

They're charged with criminal conspiracy and multiple drug counts.

Court documents show that in September an undercover police officer was first introduced to a prospective ecstasy supplier by a confidential informant looking to sell large quantities of cocaine for ecstasy and money.

The case built from there, leading to Wednesday's raid.
