$2500 Offered for Info on Latest Tire Slashings

A $2500 reward is being offered to anyone with information on another tire slashing incident in Philadelphia.

A reward is now being offered to anyone with information on the latest tire slashing incident in Philadelphia.

On Sunday, tires were slashed on three vehicles parked along the 7100 block of Erdrick Street in Tacony, according to police.

This area is about a half a mile away from an area of Mayfair that has been plagued by car vandalism.

AAA Mid Atlantic posted a $2500 reward being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible.

A $7500 reward is also being offered for information leading to the person or people who have slashed the tires on at least 55 cars in Mayfair over the past three months.

Police say they have no reason to believe Sunday's incident is related to the previous vandalism. Neighbors tell NBC10 they fear a copycat tire slasher may be at work.

Anyone with information should contact Philadelphia Police.
