Police are investigating the deaths of two people who were found in Hamilton Township, Mercer County on Saturday.
Officials say a jogger discovered a burning body shortly before 11 a.m. at the Yardville Hamilton Square entrance of Veterans Park.
Fingerprints revealed the woman was 55-year-old Susan Benard of Trenton.
Hamilton Police Lt. Joe Mastropolo tells The Times of Trenton that investigators believe Benard took her own life but that the investigation is ongoing.
An hour and a half later, police say a group of volunteers discovered the body of 35-year-old Christopher Bonnet in the woods off Cyprus Lane, which is adjacent to Veterans Park.
Police say Bonnet's death was likely a suicide but this has not been officially confirmed.
Bonnet was missing since October 16.
