GLASSBORO, N.J. - Rowan University says two students were assaulted in separate incidents early Tuesday.
The school in Glassboro says three men wearing hooded sweatshirts attacked a student at the Magnolia Hall gazebo at 12:45 a.m. The school says two of the men were armed.
The University says the same group assaulted a student off-campus at the Crossings Apartments about ten minutes later.
The suspects fled in a tan sedan.
There's no word on the condition of the two students who were attacked.
The attacks come more than a year after another Rowan student, Donald Farrell, was beaten to death during a robbery off campus. The crime remains unsolved.
