2 Delaware Gas Stations Robbed Within Minutes

Delaware State Police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within minutes of each other in New Castle.

The first robbery took place about 9:05 p.m. Tuesday at a BP Gas Station on North DuPont Highway. Troopers say a man brandishing a handgun demanded money from a clerk. Police say the clerk gave the robber money from the cash register.

The robber fled on foot.

Officers say about 9:25 p.m., a man with a handgun entered a BP Gas Station on Jay Drive. Police say the robber demanded money from a clerk, who gave it to him. The suspect then ran away.
