Two women are in the hospital after a stabbing in the Kensington section of the city.
Police say an unidentified suspect stabbed a 30-year-old woman and her 38-year-old friend several times on the 1900 block of East Albert Street in the Kensington section of the city Friday night.
The 30-year-old was stabbed six times in the abdomen and once in the left arm. The woman was taken to Episcopal Hospital and then transferred to Temple where she is currently in critical condition.
The 38-year-old was stabbed four times in the abdomen. She was also taken to Episcopal Hospital and then transferred to Temple where she is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. If you have any information on the incident, please call Philadelphia Police.
