2 Teens Shot Near Philly's Girard College

Four people are in police custody after a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg and a 19-year-old man was struck by bullets multiple times on a Philly street just north of Girard College Thursday afternoon, police said.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of 25th and Jefferson streets in North Philly around 4:30 p.m., according to authorities.

The 19-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds to his left arm, left shoulder and two to his right thigh, investigators said.

Medics rushed both teens to Hahnemann University Hospital.  The boy is in stable condition, while the elder teen is in critical condition, officials said.

Officers detained four people, but they have not named any suspects at this time.

Investigators recovered two guns.
