2 Ordered to Stand Trial in Triple Slaying

Two men accused of killing two other men and then torturing and killing a woman last year have been ordered to stand trial in eastern Pennsylvania.

A Berks County district judge ordered all charges against 39-year-old Michael Wilkins and 32-year-old Maurice Wilkins of Ruscombmanor Township sent to county court.

A witness testified that the defendants told her they killed 22-year-old Rafael Alequin and 22-year-old Dario McLemore in Reading in December after they were shortchanged on a cocaine deal.

She said in January they showed her a video of them tying 26-year-old Jennifer Velez-Negron of Reading to a chair and forcing her to ingest heroin, and they said they later dumped the victim's body elsewhere two days after Christmas. The victim's bound and burned body was found in Salisbury Township.
