2 Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree

Police say a 24-year-old man somehow lost control of his vehicle, drove down an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Two people are in the hospital after a car accident in Chester County. It happened this morning around 12:30 a.m. on Upper Gulph and Fletcher Roads in Tredyffrin Township.

Police say a 24-year-old man somehow lost control of his vehicle, drove down an embankment and crashed into a tree. Both the driver and his 23-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries. They were flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by a medical chopper.

The roadway was closed for a few hours but opened back up around 3:50 a.m. Officials have not yet revealed the exact conditions of the accident victims. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
