Two men were killed and two women have life-threatening injuries after the car they were in crashed on a New Jersey street early Saturday, according to officials with the Paterson Fire Department.
The car crashed at the intersection of Haledon Avenue and North 1st Street, authorities said. The driver and the person in the passenger seat died, while the two women who were in the backseat and are critically injured are being treated at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The details surrounding the crash are unclear. Authorities said one of the women who is now hospitalized just turned 21 yesterday, while the other is 20 years old.
