Police say a woman and a man were killed and another man wounded by gunfire in north Philadelphia near Temple University's main campus.
Officers responding to the area early Saturday after a report of a person with a gun found a 20-year-old woman on the street with a gunshot wound to the back. She was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
A 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital by emergency responders with a gunshot wound to the head. He was reported in critical condition and police say he succumbed to his injuries shortly before 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A 21-year-old man is listed in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg. No arrests were immediately reported.
