2 Cars Hit Philly Man, 1 Driver Flees

Philadelphia man was struck by a car while walking in Bensalem. A second car hit him and fled the scene.

A 22-year-old Philly man was struck by a car as he was walking on State Road in Bensalem Monday night. Moments later another car hit the already injured man, but that driver fled the scene, police say.

Brian Richter of Cottage Stree in Philadelphia was struck by a Toyota Corolla driven by a Croydon, Pa. man at about 10 p.m. when Richter entered into the path of the oncoming car, according to Bensalem Police.

Witnesses tell police that soon after the first collision a dark-colored SUV also hit Richter and then continued driving, according to Bensalem Police.

Richter is in critical condition at Frankford-Aria Hospital, police say.
