2 Brothers Escape Christmas Fire by Jumping Out of Window

The fire broke out around 7:40 Christmas morning at a two-story row home on the 700 block of Division Street.

Two brothers are recovering after escaping a fire at a Camden row home.

The fire broke out around 7:40 Christmas morning at a two-story row home on the 700 block of Division Street.

Two brothers were inside the house at the time of the fire. Officials say both brothers escaped by jumping out of the back window. One of the brothers, who was afraid to jump, had to be convinced by a next door neighbor.

One brother suffered burns to the hand while the other suffered smoke inhalation. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
