2 Arrested in NJ High School Burglary: Cops

Two teenagers are accused of stealing athletic equipment and other items from Brick Memorial High School

Two teenage boys were arrested Saturday morning after police say they stole school property from Brick Memorial High School in Brick Township, N.J.

Police arrived at the school at 2001 Lanes Mill Road after multiple alarms were set off. Officers pulled over a car that had just left the school parking lot and police say while the two teens were being questioned, they spotted several items that looked like school property inside the car.

Christopher Ribertone, 19, and Sean Morris, 18, both of Brick Township, were arrested.

Police say the pair entered the school through an unlocked door and stole athletic equipment like a football, kickball, kettle bells, along with a pair of plaques and some water jugs.

Both teens have been charged with one count of burglary and theft.
