2 Arrested in Middle School Burglary

Delaware State Police troopers say they've arrested a teenager and a 21-year-old who were burglarizing a middle school in New Castle.

Troopers say they responded to a burglary alarm at George Read Middle School around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. A trooper walking around the building's exterior saw two men inside. Both ran out of the building and were arrested after a foot chase.

Troopers say the 17-year-old took four sets of head phones. Troopers say the 21-year-old, identified as Manuel Marshall of New Castle, was arrested carrying a small bag of marijuana. Both were charged with burglary, conspiracy, theft, resisting arrest and other charges.

Marshall did not appear to have a listed phone number.
