A teenager is dead after slamming his motorcycle into a tree in the Fairmount Park section of the city overnight.
The accident happened on Kelly Drive and Fairmount Avenue around midnight.
Police tell NBC10 the 19-year-old victim lost control of his bike and crashed into a large tree.
He suffered severe lower body injuries and was transported to Hahnemann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The reason for the crash is under investigation.
