A Bucks County man used Craigslist to prey on homeowners, according to prosecutors. Jason Matthews advertised on the popular Web site as an "affordable contractor."

He's accused of taking more than $65,000 from people after agreeing to do work on their property. The work was either never done or never completed, according to investigators.

Matthews, 35, is from Bensalem. He was charged Tuesday with Theft, Deceptive and Fraudulent Business Practices and several related offenses.

Victims came from five counties in the Metro area, according to Bensalem police who said some homeowners who tracked Matthews down to ask for a refund, were told to go to court and file a complaint.
