15-Year-Old Injured in Delaware Shooting

Authorities say a 15-year-old boy has been injured in a shooting that occured Sunday night in Edgemoor, Delaware. 

New Castle County Police said in a release Monday that officers were called to the scene on the block of South Pennewell Drive on Sunday night for a report of a shooting just before 11 p.m.

Officers found the teen with an apparent gunshot wound and administered first aid. The teen was taken to an area hospital, where police say he was treated for injuries that aren't considered life-threatening.

Police say they investigation into the shooting is continuing.

Police say a reward of up to $20,000 is available to anyone who provides information leading up to the arrest or conviction of those responsible.
