A 15-year-old boy has admitted to sexually assaulting a girl in the basement of an eastern Pennsylvania high school.
The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office says the teen admitted to a sexual assault charge in juvenile court Wednesday. Officials say the 16-year-old girl was assaulted in the basement of Dieruff High School in Allentown on May 18.
Prosecutors say the victim's family agreed to the case's resolution.
The boy is being held at a juvenile detention facility.
A disposition hearing, similar to a sentencing, will be held at a later date.
Allentown schools solicitor John Freund says the district is continuing its own investigation.
