13-Year-Old, Others Shot in Overnight Drive-By

Police searching for green conversion van or SUV

An overnight drive-by shooting in Philadelphia has sent three people to the hospital.

Two gunmen in a green van or SUV opened fire just before 2 a.m. Wednesday on the 2800 block of N. Lee Street in the West Kensington section of Philadelphia, according police.

Two teens -- a 13-year-old and 19-year-old -- and a 25-year-old were shot in either the legs or hip.

The victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital and Episcopal Hospital in stable condition.

"Now based on balistic evidence, we know that at least nine shots were fired by two separate caliber, semi-automatic handguns," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.

The gunmen were last seen fleeing in the green vehicle east on Gurney Street.

Investigators say there are several businesses in the area that have surveillance cameras and that they will be checking in for video.
