Police in Philadelphia say a woman is dead and a second injured following an apparent stabbing.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports two women arrived at a city hospital with stab wounds late Tuesday night.
A 22-year-old woman later died a few hours later from a stab wound to the abdomen while a 23-year-old woman was treated for a knife wound to the arm.
Officials did not release the victims' names.
Investigators say the incident happened in southwest Philadelphia. Police are still trying to determine how it transpired.
