One person died when a fire erupted in Bucks County house Sunday morning.

The fire on the 700 block of Sycamore Drive in Upper Southampton Township broke out shortly after 2 a.m. Fire officials said they believed the person who died was the only person who was in the house when the blaze broke out.

Officials did not immediately release the name of the deceased as they continued to investigate the cause of the fire.
