An infant boy is dead after drowning in a Bensalem pool.
Around 2:45 p.m., Bensalem Police responded to a home on E. Yates Road for a reported drowning.
Both police and the infant’s teenage sister performed CPR on the boy but to no avail.
The infant was then taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say that family members were watching the 20-month-old boy when he walked into a room with an indoor pool and accidentally fell inside. He was later found by his aunt.
Its unknown how long the infant was inside the pool before he was found.
The Bensalem Police Special Victims Unit continues to investigate.
