Police are investigating two incidents in the Edgemoor Gardens community in Delaware.
The first happened Monday morning shortly after midnight on the unit block of South Cannon Drive for a report of shots fired. A 21-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to investigators. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
Hours later, police discovered a dead body on the unit block of North Cannon Drive. The unidentified man was found shortly after 6:30 a.m. The body has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office. A cause of death is pending their investigation.
No word yet if the two incidents are related.
