1 Hurt in Pa. Turnpike Crash

At least one tractor-trailer was involved in a crash on the Pennsylvania State Turnpike that prompted officials to close portions of the highway during the morning rush hour Tuesday.

One driver suffered a minor injury in the accident that happened in the southbound lanes near mile marker 25 just past Lansdale around 6:30 a.m., according to officials.

The collision initially caused traffic to backup on the busy highway for six miles.

The tractor trailer was cleared from the roadway around 7:40 a.m. and the lanes reopened, although there were some residual delays.
